Art director Lisa O'Grady, also known as Leesa Mae, is hoping to reach the grand finals of Live and Unsigned 2009.

As reported in the YEP last month, Lisa, from Kippax, was one of 180 people to lose their jobs after major cuts at ITV Yorkshire.

The 31-year-old reached the regional semi-finals of the competition – but she won't progress to the final unless she wins the wildcard vote.

To vote for Lisa, text "wildcard55" to 84222. Texts cost £1 and lines are open until Wednesday.

Lisa will play her next gig in Leeds on June 17 at the Hi-Fi Club.
