Kippax Welfare U-8s put in a superb defensive effort a strong Dewsbury side and did very well to limit them to just two tries.

Tom Barton took the hard earned honours for Man of the Match and Zak Robinson paired Man of the Match Runner Up with Top Tackler.

Takuswa Murangari shared the Best Tackle plaudits with Barton and Most Improved went to strong running Jack Prince.

There were some powerful runs from Charlotte Byers and Alfie Southernwood whilst Luke Waddington and Adam Burrow made some crucial tackles.

Dillan Allatt and Josh Nicholson made some penetrating runs and Nathan Collins and Josh Butler did a fine job in the acting half role.
